The UMass women's soccer team kicks off a five-match home stand this Thursday, Sept. 10 when Bryant visits Rudd Field. The match is slated for a 4 PM start with free admission and free parking.

This will be the only match of the week for the Minutewomen (0-3-2) who are coming off a tough loss and a draw at the Yale Classic this past weekend. UMass fought Central Connecticut State to a 1-1 double-overtime stalemate on Friday before taking a hard-luck loss against Yale on Sunday. Gabriela Kenyon (Plymouth, Mass.) notched the game-tying goal against the Blue Devils on Friday, while Sunday's match saw a pair of goals waived off due to offsides and a late potential game-tying goal being cleared off the line by the Bulldogs to preserve the win.

Bryant enters the match with a 1-4-0 record after picking up a win at Fairfield on Sunday, 3-1.

For UMass, the defense has done yeoman's work over the last four games allowing just three goals while posting one shutout. Cassidy Babin (Ellicot City, Md.) has started all four of those matches with a 0.68 goals-against-average and a .833 save percentage. She currently leads the Atlantic 10 in save percentage and is sixth in save percentage.

Offensively, UMass continues to shake up it's front line-up with several key players still out. With players playing in new positions, the offense is starting to get a rhythm with UMass posting 37 shots in the last two outings compared to 23 in the first three games. The Minutewomen held an 18-17 shot advantage against Central Connecticut and a 19-10 advantage against Yale. Possession-wise, UMass has also been able to earn more corner opportunities in the last two games with an 8-5 edge over the Blue Devils and a 3-0 advantage against Yale.

Following Thursday's match, UMass will return home to host Brown on Thursday, Sept. 17 and Harvard on Sunday, Sept. 20.
