Howe Selected To Play In NEWISA Senior Bowl

AMHERST, Mass. - UMass women's soccer senior Jess Howe has been invited to play in the 2012 New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl, it was announced earlier this week. The match will be held on Sunday, Dec. 2, on the Merrimack campus at 11 a.m.

Missing just two games in her entire collegiate career, Howe was one of five Minutewomen to start all 20 matches this fall. The co-captain helped UMass log six shutouts in 2012 and contributed two assists to finish her career with five. Four of her five career helpers set up game-winners for the Minutewomen, including the lone goal of a 1-0 shutout of Siena this season.
