UMass Student-Athletes Visit Crocker Farms

AMHERST, Mass. - Fifteen Minutemen and Minutewomen headed over to Crocker Farms on Friday morning for breakfast to talk to the students about nutrition, getting a good education and to sign autographs. The student-athletes that were involved in the informational breakfast included; Cedric Gonnet , Rob Blanchflower , Brandon Hill , Ryan Delaire , Jenna Goodwin , Blair Ferry , Lauren Skesavage , Ryan Gorman , Nazy Kerr , Gabriella Jannotta , Greg Rushing , Emilie Teuscher , Katie Bettencourt , Shane Curran-Hays , and Ron Wallace.
The Crocker Farms invites different groups of people to come in to talk to the students at least once a month. For UMass, this is the second trip in two semesters that they have gone down to talk to the students about the importance of staying healthy by eating well. The student-athletes also talked about getting a good education early, and explaining to the children their experiences leading up to college.
