NORTH KINGSTON, R.I. - 2010 New England 55 meter hurdle Champion, Tyler Cotto, added an A-10 Title to his resume on Saturday in the same event. The senior crossed the line at 7.52, currently the best team and personal mark of the season thus far. The first place finish placed Cotto on the first team All-Conference in the A-10. The Holliston, Mass. native is already qualified for the New England and IC4A Championships in the next two weeks.

A-10 long jump champion, Zachary Koncki, also participated in the 55 meter hurdles with Cotto, as he qualified for the IC4A Championships in the event. The sophomore finished in 7.74 while placing sixth. Koncki is now New England and IC4A qualified in both the 55 meter hurdles and long jump.

Sean Duncan, a member of the champion distance medley relay squad from Friday, was back on the track on Saturday, placing third in the mile run with a time of 4:16.44. The mark was good enough to qualify him for next weekend's New England Championships. A 4x800 meter relay team also qualified for the New England meet, as the quad set a team time of 7:54.25, placing fifth in the event.

Already IC4A and New England qualified Paul Grafov placed fifth in the 500 meter run in 1:06.17. Rounding out the crowd at the 2011 A-10 Meet was Chris Dzidek in the heptathlon. This is the first meet in which the heptathlon was held during the 2011 campaign. Dzidek placed fifth overall with 4,391 points, as his best finish came in the pole vault where the senior placed second while jumping 13-7.25 feet.

Ken O'Brien's squad next hits the track on February 25th and 26th for the highly competitive New England Championships in Boston, Mass. The start time for both days is 10 am.
