Field Set For Women's Soccer A-10 Tournament

AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass women's soccer team has earned a berth to the Atlantic 10 Tournament for a third consecutive year and will begin the postseason this Thursday evening, Nov. 3, in Dayton, Ohio. As the No. 4 seed in the six-team field, the Minutewomen will face #5 St. Bonaventure at 5 p.m. on Bajuan Field.
The winner of the match will advance to the semifinals to play either #1 La Salle or #2 Richmond on Friday, Nov. 4. Those matches are set for 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Rounding out the field, tournament host #3 Dayton will take on #6 Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
UMass finished the regular season with a record of 12-4-2, 6-2-1 in Atlantic 10 matches, the most wins for the squad since when the team last captured the conference title in 1997.
