Softball Announces Fall Schedule And Alumnae Weekend Plans

AMHERST, Mass. -- The 2007-08 UMass Softball Team begins the quest for its 20th Atlantic 10 Championship September with five dates of fall ball. The Minutewomen will host games on three dates (BC on Sept. 15 at 1:00 p.m.; Central Connecticut on Sept. 29 at 1:00 p.m.; BU on Sept. 30 at 1:00 p.m.) while also playing four games at UConn's fall tournament the weekend of Sept. 22-23. Fall ball concludes with the annual Alumnae Weekend, Oct. 6-7, that includes the Alumnae Game (Oct. 6 at 11:00 a.m.), banquet (Oct. 6 at 7:30 PM) and golf tournament (Oct. 7 at 10:00 AM at the Pine Grove Golf Club in Northampton).

2007-08 UMass Softball Alumnae Weekend
• It all begins with the alumnae softball game at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Oct. 6. That evening, a banquet will be held at the Massachusetts Room in the Mullins Center honoring the accomplishments of the 2007 NCAA Regional Finalist Minutewomen. The weekend concludes on Sunday, Oct. 7, with the sixth annual Golf Scramble held at the Pine Grove Golf Club of Northampton.

Come join us once again in honoring the 2007 Atlantic 10 Championship Softball team who continued the tradition of excellence by making its 13th straight and 17th overall NCAA Tournament appearance.
