AMHERST, Mass. -

Rudd Field will be host to another set of women's soccer games this weekend, as the Minutewomen open up the Atlantic 10 portion of their 2005 schedule with games against Fordham and St. Bonaventure. UMass (3-5-1) hopes to get back to its winning ways first on Friday at 3:30 vs. the Rams. They face the Bonnies on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Minutewomen are coming off of two home losses last week, both by the score of 1-0 to Dartmouth (2OT) and Fairfield. Britt Canfield still leads UMass in scoring with seven points, while Jenny Roehrig and Vanessa Patry each have five.

Fordham is 6-3-0 heading into Friday's game, with wins over Iona, Stony Brook, New Hampshire, Quinnipiac, Wagner and Lafayette. The losses have come against Manhattan, Brown and Hofstra. Haley Lentsch leads the Rams in scoring with six goals and two assists for 14 points. Julie Wynns is 4-2-0 in goal, while Allie Cacciotti is 2-1-0.
