Minutemen to Face 13th-Ranked Terriers

AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts ice hockey team, riding a three-game winning streak, returns to Hockey East action this weekend with a home-and-home series against Boston University. The Minutemen are 8-5-0 on the season, while the 13th-ranked Terriers are 7-5-2. Face-off is at 7:00 p.m. at the Mullins Center on Friday night.
Several promotions will be taking place before and during Friday's game. "Toys for Tots" will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for needy children around the area. People bringing toys will then be given a raffle ticket for an opportunity to win a Microsoft? X-Box. Several other raffles, contests and give-aways are planned for before and during the game.
