Soccer Buzz Honors Four Women's Soccer Players

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts women's soccer goalkeeper Julie Podhrasky (Dallas, Texas), forward Brooke Bartlett (Clifton Park, N.Y.) and defender Sarah Cook (Cincinnati, Ohio) were all selected to the All-Northeast Region Third Team as selected by Soccer Buzz. Midfielder Michelle Luttati (Westford, Mass.) was selected to the All-Northeast Region All-Freshman Team.
Podhrasky finished 7-7 with a 1.31 goals against average and .795 save percentage in 16 games this past season. She was selected Atlantic 10 Conference Defensive Player-of-the-Year and earned A-10 first team and all-tournament honors.
Bartlett led the Minutewomen with nine assists and a career-high 21 points this season. She also was tops on the team with 12 points in conference play for which she earned A-10 first team and all-tournament honors.
Cook, the team captain, and Luttati led a defense that allowed just 20 goals in 19 games this season, earning themselves A-10 first and all-rookie team honors, respectively.
