A four-year starter in attack, McDaniel finished her career with a program record 122 assists, good for third all-time in CAA history. A native of Annapolis, Maryland, she totaled 187 points, ranking ninth in program history and recording the highest total of any Blue Hen in the 2000s. An impact player each season, McDaniel became the first Delaware player to earn CAA Rookie of The Year since 2012. Serving as a leader on and off the field, she was a member of her team leadership council and was selected by the Delaware Director of Athletics as the student speaker for the university’s Athletes’ Graduation Ceremony.
“I am beyond excited to join the incredible coaching staff at UMass,” said McDaniel. “Once I met Coach Drummond, I knew that UMass was where I was meant to be. I am thrilled to be a part of the team and continuing the great work that has been done here.”
