Drummond and Morris Collect ECAC Honors

DANBURY, Conn. -- Massachusetts women's lacrosse once again collected a pair of postseason honors as Head Coach Jana Drummond and attacker Kassidy Morris each received recognition as part of the 2025 Division I Women's Lacrosse ECAC Awards, The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced on Friday. Drummond claimed Coach of the Year while Morris received All-ECAC Team recognition.
Jana Drummond collected Coach of the Year honors after a 2025 campaign which saw her lead the Minutewomen to their first A-10 Championship since 2021. Drummond also received her third straight A-10 Coach of The Year honor after leading Massachusetts to their 14th consecutive A-10 Regular Season Championship and 16th straight season with either a regular season or tournament title. Drummond coached Massachusetts to a 15-4 overall record and a perfect 10-0 mark in conference play. The Minutewomen finished the year in Baltimore, Maryland playing Princeton in the NCAA First Round, the 16th NCAA Tournament appearance for the Minutewomen and first since 2023.
Kassidy Morris earns another postseason honor after receiving both ILWomen and USA Lacrose All-American honors in the wake of a stellar 2025 campaign. The Washago, Ontario native completed a 2025 season in which she ranked sixth nationally in goals (78) and third in shots on goal per game (7.11). The Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of The Year, Morris ranks 11th nationally in points (101) and 12th in points per game (5.32). A three-time A-10 Offensive Player of The Week, Morris set the Massachusetts single-season goal record, passing program legends Kiley Anderson and Sam Rush who each recorded 67. One of the nation's top offensive creators, Morris led the A-10 while ranking sixth nationally in shots per game (9.00).
The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-five-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast.
