Allison Lashua joined the Massachusetts staff in June 2023 and serves as the Assistant Director of Event Management & Facility Operations. Lashua comes to Amherst following two years as an Athletics Operations Assistant at Boston University.
At Boston University, Lashua was responsible for day-to-day facilities and game day operations, communicated with visiting teams and BU coaching staffs regarding game day needs and experiences and helped with the upkeep of athletic facilities and equipment.
Prior to her time at BU, Lashua spent time as a summer camp director for the Town of Westminster, where she collected all camper registrations and organized information. She oversaw 12 camp counselors and over 100 kids for five weeks and created day-to-day activities/themed weeks for campers.
Lashua interned in athletics during the 2020-21 school year at Narragansett Regional High School. While there, she helped with game and field setup, sanitation between quarters, greeted officials and referees and met with 'pod' Athletic Director's on Zoom to discuss COVID-19 protocols and procedures.
Additionally, Lashua volunteered for two summers at ProCamps, assisting with event day operations, including registration, field logistics setup and breakdown, and inventory management, aided athletes with community relation efforts, including autograph sessions and photo opportunities and was responsible for overseeing logistics for VIP luncheons.
A 2021 graduate of Franklin Pierce University, Lashua earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Sport Management. She was also a member of the varsity women's rowing team as coxswain for one season.
