2022 (Junior): Started in nine of 14 games played over 686 minutes … Tallied seven shots, including three shots on goal … Logged a season-high of 81 minutes against Dayton (9/25) … Recorded two shots against Saint Josephs with one on target (9/22) … Attempted one shot on goal at George Washington (10/16) and against Fordham (10/23).
2021 (Sophomore): Appeared in 18 games and started 17 contests … Scored four goals and added two assists for 10 points … Named the Atlantic 10 Co-Offensive Player of the Week (9/27) … Attempted 41 shots with 17 on target for a shots on goal percentage of .415 … Scored goals in back-to-back games, first in a 2-0 win over George Mason (9/23) then in a 1-1 draw against Rhode Island (9/26) … Recorded a goal in a 2-1 victory at Fordham (10/17).

Before UMass: Played club for Orlando City Youth Soccer ’02 ECHL under coach Craig Melton … Attended Winter Park High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society.
Dowiak on Groff: Karina was a highly recruited player for the last two years. She’s a very tremendous athlete, but also has a real clever and creative approach to what she does on the field. As a wide player, she has tremendous ability to beat players one-on-one, get beyond the back line, and is a great set-up player. We’re real excited about the addition that we get in her athletic ability, as well as her production capabilities.
