2003-04: Lang had another solid season along the UMass blue-line, playing in 26 games and tallying six points (1 g, 5 a), and committing eight penalties for 16 minutes... Netted a goal in UMass[apos] season-opening 6-3 win over Connecticut... Recorded one assist five different times on the season... Played in the last 12 games of the season, and recorded an assist against New Hampshire in the Hockey East Semifinals for the second straight season (3/19).
2002-03: One of the most improved players in Hockey East, Lang appeared in 34 games for the Minutemen... Was named the team[apos]s most improved player... Tallied 12 points (3 g, 9 a), while posting a +5 plus-minus ratio... Scored first career points in a 4-3 victory over Rensselaer with a goal and an assist... Named Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 21 following his performance against Rensselaer... Netted goal against Vermont, then scored game-winning goal against Northeastern on Jan. 24, 2003... Dished out single assists in the last two games of the season in the Hockey East Playoffs... Landed a spot on the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
2001-02: Played in 23 of the team[apos]s 34 games... Had eight penalties for 16 minutes... Took 12 shots on net... Named to the Hockey East All-Academic team and Athletic Director[apos]s Honor Roll both semesters.
BEFORE UMASS: Played three seasons for Gary Dineen and Tim Pratt at Tabor Academy... Team captain senior year... Had eight goals and 22 assists for 30 points as a senior...
