    Volunteer Assistant Coach
Alesha Widdall is in her first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the UMass field hockey team following the completion of a success four-year career as a goalkeeper for the Minutewomen. In her position as a volunteer assistant Widdall will assist the coaching staff in all aspects of the program.

From 2008-11 Widdall served as the starting goalkeeper for the Minutewomen, accumulating 78 starts in 81 appearances totaling 5,650 minutes of action. A two-time NFHCA All-American, Widdall won 47 games in the cage for UMass, tallying a .774 save percentage and 1.40 goals-against average for her career. In addition to her successful collegiate tenure, Widdall continues to stay active as a player with the U.S. National Team, earning her first senior side cap during the 2012 Champions Challenge.
