Field Hockey Collects Academic Recognitions From The NFHCA

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts field hockey garnered recognition for the squad's work in the classroom this week from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association as 23 Minutewomen were named to the National Academic Squad with 10 being recognized as Scholars of Distinction.
The NFHCA Division I national academic squad honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. Ten players were dually awarded the NFHCA Scholars of Distinction honors. This program acknowledges exceptional undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester, also nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
