What the UMass Athletic Fund Supports

UMAF members can be proud of their support of athletic scholarships, student-athlete support services, equipment, and facilities. The accomplishments of the UMAF include:

  • Providing $2.2 million for additional athletic scholarship aid
  • Establishing two academic support centers for student-athletes
  • Upgrading facilities (fields, locker rooms, weight rooms)
  • Providing a home for the UMass Athletic Hall of Fame
  • Purchasing state-of-the-art computer equipment for the coaching staff and the Media Relations Office

    The UMass Athletic Fund needs your support to continue to provide the resources necessary for UMass athletics to compete regionally and nationally.

    Athletic Scholarship Aid

    One of the goals of the UMAF is to increase athletic scholarship aid. Below is a chart that illustrates the annual percentages for the sources of athletic scholarship aid.
