Massachusetts head coach Derek Kellogg spent Thursday at the TD Garden talking about the newly announced Coaches vs. Cancer Boston Tip-Off and the 2013-14 basketball season. He was joined by the other six Division I head coaches in the Commonwealth and select student-athletes from each of the institutions. UMass was represented by it's senior trio of Sampson Carter, Raphiael Putney and Chaz Williams.

The event was held in conjunction with the Coaches vs. Cancer Breakfast, hosted by ESPN.com writer Jeff Goodman and featuring Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens and the seven D-I coaches.
