UMass Hockey Receiving Votes In USCHO Preseason Poll

The USCHO.com preseason Division I Men's Poll, which was released this afternoon, included UMass as the eighth team receiving votes outside of the top-20. The Minutemen, who will embark upon their first season under head coach John Micheletto on Oct. 12 vs. Connecticut, garnered 13 votes.

The USCHO.com Poll consists of 50 voters, including 28 coaches from the Division I conferences and 22 beat writers and sports professionals from across the country. The poll, published weekly by the Associated Press, is a production of USCHO.com, which provides in-depth coverage of college hockey.
