Republican: Tickets go on sale for UMass hockey outdoor game at Fenway Park

Dick Baker, Republican - Attention UMass hockey fans, make sure you're left out in the cold.

Tickets for the general public to the Hockey East Frozen Fenway doubleheader Jan. 7 at Fenway Park go on sale Tuesday at noon. The league and the Red Sox are looking for a sellout. UMass is hoping for a big turnout to back the Minutemen.

The Minutemen will face the University of Vermont at 4 p.m. with Maine and New Hampshire playing at 7:30.

Tickets are available at redsox.com/frozenfenway or by calling 877-RED-SOX9. Fans with disabilities may call that same number for accessible seating. Ticket prices start as low as $5, and are valid for both games.
