Times-Herald Record: Brand Makes Name In 10 Countries

Former UMass hoops standout Micah Brand is featured in the Times-Herald Record for his amazing professional career which has spanned 10 different countries. This season, Brand is looking to slow things down to spend more time with his family.

Micah Brand's daughter, Janiyah, thinks her daddy should be spending more time working out.

Brand, a Middletown native, tells Janiyah, 8, that nothing beats running up and down the court to stay in shape; his toughest workouts this summer are in the Nike Pro City League at New York's Hunter College.

The court is Brand's home away from home. He's spent the last eight seasons playing in 10 different countries.
