With summer league play continuing last night, more Tony Gaffney coverage. Chris Forsberg talks about the Celtics giving Gaffney a good look for a roster spot.
Gaffney had 10 points and five boards in an 86-69 loss to the Philadelphia 76 ers last night. In this piece, which focuses on Gaffney's defensive abilities, Celtics coach Austin Ainge praises Gaffney, saying ""Tony's unbelievable in the open court. If we can get stops and run, he's really good. He's a gazelle. He can run and jump. And he works hard."
The Boston Herald's Celtics Notebook talks about Gaffney's play improving from game one, as he continues to recover from an eight-month layoff with a broken foot.
