Women’s Swim & Dive Announces 2026-27 Schedule

The Minutewomen kick off the season with the three-day Colgate Invitational, hosted by Colgate, on Friday, October 9.

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts women's swimming and diving team unveils 2026-27 schedule on Friday. After the Maroon and White Intrasquad meet on Saturday, October 3, the Minutewomen kick off the season at the Colgate Invitational, hosted by Colgate, on Friday, October 9, through Saturday, October 10. 

Massachusetts returns home for an exhibition meet against Yale on Saturday, October 24, with diving events beginning at 11 a.m., before the swim events start at 1 p.m. 

The Minutewomen travels east to face Boston University on Saturday, October 31, at 1:30 p.m., in Boston, Massachusetts. UMass then heads back to Boston for the Terrier Invitational, hosted by Boston University, with the three-day event taking place on Friday, November 20 through Sunday, November 22. 

UMass comes back to Joseph R. Rogers Jr., pool for its final meet of 2026, as the team hosts LaSalle and Rhode Island on Saturday, December 5, with diving events starting at 10 a.m., and swim events beginning at 12 p.m. The Minutewomen divers will compete for the last time before the new year at the USA Winter Diving Nationals on Thursday, December 10, through Wednesday, December 16 at the COM Aquatics in Midland, Texas. 

Following the holiday break, Massachusetts returns to the pool with a home meet on Saturday, January 9, against UConn with swimming events starting at 1 p.m. The diving squad travels to Buffalo, New York, for the Buffalo Diving Invitational from Friday, January 8 to Sunday, January 10. 

Massachusetts will close its homestand with a meet against Fordham on Saturday, January 16, starting at 11 a.m., before heading to Dartmouth College for the Dartmouth Invitational on Friday, January 22 through Saturday, January 23. Friday's events begin at 5 p.m., with Saturday's events starting at 10 a.m. 

UMass then hits the road to take on Bryant on Saturday, January 29, in Smithfield, Rhode Island, before heading to Fairfield, Connecticut, to face Fairfield on Saturday, January 30.  

The Minutemen divers finish out the regular season at the Princeton Diving Invitational on Saturday, February 13.  

The Mid-American Conference Championships are set for Wednesday, February 24 through Saturday, February 27, at Cooper Pool in Bowling Green, Ohio. Preliminary events start at 10 a.m., with finals beginning at 6 p.m. each day.  

The Zone A Diving Championships will be held in Morgantown, West Virginia at West Virginia University on Monday, March 8 through Wednesday, March 10.
