AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts junior distance runner Collin Catherwood has been named the Outdoor Track & Field Men's Track Athlete of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
Catherwood set a program record in the 1500m at the UConn Dog Fight, winning the event with a time of 3:45.40. His performance ranks second in the Mid-American Conference and 105th in the NCAA this season, while also standing as the eighth-best mark in the Northeast region.
