Massachusetts Baseball Unveils 2026 Schedule

Minutemen open the 2026 campaign with nine road games, beginning with a three-game series at Mount St. Mary’s on February 20-22.
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts baseball and co-head coaches Brandon Shileikis and Max Weir announced the 2026 season schedule on Friday. A 49-game slate lies ahead for the Minutemen, starting off the season with a road series Mount St. Mary's on February 20-22 in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
After the season opening series, UMass will face Siena for a neutral site series at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Maryland. From there, the Minutemen begin Mid-American Conference play in Toledo, Ohio, for a three-game series against Toledo (March 6-8), before facing Holy Cross on March 10 for UMass' home opener.
Massachusetts returns to MACtion with a road test at Akron (March 13-15) and continues on the road with a midweek game against Army on March 17. UMass sets for its home conference opener against Kent State on March 20-22. The Minutemen travel to Albany, New York, for a matchup with UAlbany on March 24, before visiting league foe Western Michigan on March 27-29.
UMass prepares a four-game home stretch, as the team welcomes Quinnipiac (March 31) and Northern Illinois (April 3-5) to Earl Lorden Field. The Minutemen then take on Boston College on April 7 for the Opening Round of the Beanpot in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, with the Beanpot Final/Consolation game set for April 14. Massachusetts heads to Eastern Michigan for a three-game conference series on April 10-12.
The Minutemen ready for a five-game homestand, first hosting league rival Bowling Green for three games (April 17-19), and then welcoming Central Connecticut State (April 21) and Stonehill (April 22) for back-to-back midweek contests. UMass hits the road again to face MAC opponent Ball State in Muncie, Indiana on April 24-26, before traveling to Loudonville, New York, to take on Siena on April 28.
Ohio comes to Amherst for a three-game conference series on May 1-3 with Massachusetts, before the Minutemen face UMass Lowell on May 6 at Earl Lorden.
Massachusetts competes in its final regular season road series against Miami (OH) on May 8-10, before concluding the regular season with a weekend series at the Earl against Central Michigan on May 14-16.
