Taylor Sets Meet Pole Vault Record as Minutewomen Win NEICAAA Outdoor Championships

AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts women's track and field team claimed first place in the NEICAAA Outdoor Championships with 136 points. The Minutewomen totaled 10 medalists en route to the team victory on Saturday.

Highlights from Competition:
- Chloe Taylor set a new NEICAAA Outdoor Championship record in the Pole Vault, clearing a height of 13' 5 3/4" to earn gold. Megan Frazee rounded out the top-five, claiming fifth after clearing 12' 6 1/4"
- Ali Murphy, Lillian Kirry, Caroline Mullady, and Sadai Headley-Mawasi combined to run 3:43.78 in the 4x400m Relay to claim first place.
- Shakira Cadet earned silver in the Triple Jump with a distance of 38' 9 3/4", followed by Ruth Michel (37' 11 1/2") placing seventh. Cadet also claimed a top-five finish in the Long Jump, placing fourth with a distance of 18' 7 1/4".
- Bridget Lee won bronze in the Long Jump, marking a best of 19' 2" on the day.
- Rylee Shunney claimed silver in the 5K with a time of 16:34.32. Anna McElhinney finished in 17:16.16, good for fifth-place.
- Alexandria Scott placed second in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:00.29.
- Alex Costantino crossed the finish line at 2:13.39 in the 800m, good for silver.
- Sadai Headley-Mawasi earned bronze in the 200m, crossing the line at 24.37. Jana DeRaedt placed seventh shortly after with a time of 25.03.
- Ella Bosselman finished third in the 3K Steeplechase with a time of 10:47.48. Annika Zuschlag rounded out the top-five at 10:57.67 to place fifth.
- Ainsley Wiesner captured bronze in the Hammer Throw, recording a best of 174' 3" on the day. Jaliyah Burns also recorded a scoring placement with a distance of 160' to finish seventh.
- Rylee Davis completed the 10K in 36:15.47, good for fourth place.
- Natalie Krysta placed fifth in the Discus, recording a distance of 140' 6".
- Eve Segal scored in the Shot Put, placing sixth after recording a best of 42' 6 1/4" on the day.
