March 11, 2025 | Men's Basketball
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Following a career best 2024-25 campaign, senior Rahsool Diggins has earned All-Atlantic 10 Third Team selection, the conference announced Tuesday. The selection marks his second career A-10 end of year honor and first selection to an All-Conference team.Â
Â
Diggins earns the end of year honor after a season which saw the senior guard set multiple program records en route to eclipsing 1,000 career points. The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native received a trio of National Player of The Week honors in addition to a pair of conference weekly awards. Diggins finished the regular season averaging 20.6 points on 39.1% shooting from the field over 18 A-10 games. The Senior led the A-10 in points per game during conference play.Â
Â
The Minuteman veteran higlighted the season with a program record 46 points in Massachusetts' triple OT win at Fordham. The senior shot 14-of-29 from the field and 8-of-13 from three-point range. The performance marked the most points by a visiting player at Rose Hill Gymnasium, surpassing all-time UMass great Julius Erving's 37-point performance on January 21, 1970. The performance tied for the most points ever scored at the facility, tying Kenny Charles just one day shy of Rose Hill Gym's 100 anniversary mark.Â
Â
