Minutemen Track and Field competes in Harvard Invitational and John Thomas Terrier Classic

AMHERST, Mass. -- The University of Massachusetts men's track and field team returned to the track on Friday competing in the Harvard Invitational, wrapping up the weekend in Boston for the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Saturday.Â

Highlights from Competition:
John Thomas Terrier ClassicÂ
- Hunter Feitel finished fifth overall in the men's pole vault clearing 15'1".Â
- Aidan Lee (9th) secured a top 10 finish in the men's high jump clearing a height of 6'3.25".
- Jack Ngo claimed a fourth place finish in the men's weight throw with a toss of 48'0.75".Â
- Elijah Wolinski's time of 8.76 in the men's 60m hurdles was good enough for eighth overall.Â
- Jasonn Dejesus claimed silver in the men's 60m dash open with a time of 7.06.Â
Harvard InvitationalÂ
- Chamberlain Guthrie's leap of 21'10.25" in the men's long jump was good enough to secure sixth place.Â
- Aaron Fishler earned bronze in the men's weight throw with a toss of 50'1.75".Â
- Mathew Acquah continued his season-long dominance of men's triple jump, claiming gold with a distance of 48'4".
- Aiden Donovan placed fourth in the men's shot put with a throw of 47'3", with Brennan Ibbitson (8th) also claiming a top 10 finish with a heave of 41'6.25".Â
- Godot Gaskins earned gold in the men's 500m run with a time of 1:05.81. Corey Sanders crossed the finish line shortly after, securing second place with a time of 1:06.73.
