Andrews is the second FWAA All-American in program history

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts graduate student punter Keegan Andrews has been named a 2025 Football Writers Association of America Second Team All-American, as presented by the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic on Thursday.

Andrews, a native of Werribee, Australia, is just the second Minuteman to earn FWAA All-American honors, joining wide receiver Andy Isaballa, who was a First Team selection in 2018.

A First Team All-MAC selection, Andrews led the league in punting average (46.5), punts inside the 20 (26), total yards (3,211), total punts (69) and 50-plus yard punts (21). His 46.5 average also ranks seventh in FBS.

Andrews had only two touchbacks on the season and his career-long punt of 66 yards came in the first game of the year versus Temple, after which he was named the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week. Against Bryant, five of his punts landed within the 20-yard line, marking a career-best total. All told, he earned a spot on the Ray Guy Award Ray's 8 honor list four times throughout the season.

Additionally, Andrews now holds the single-season and career-best UMass records for punt average and holds the season record in punting yards.
