Alex Kreidler garners first weekly honor of his career.

AMHERST, Mass. – Sophomore diver Alex Kreidler of the University of Massachusetts men's swim and dive team, was named the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Diver of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday.

As the Minutemen secured a 166-134 victory over Boston University, Kreidler collected the gold medal in the one-meter dive with a personal-best score of 353.63, which also marked the third-best score in program history. The Arvada, Colorado, native also grabbed the silver in the three-meter dive with a six-dive total of 369.53, which marked a personal-best and the fourth-best score in program history.

The swimming and diving team will take a week-long break before heading to Boston, Massachusetts, for the Terrier Invitational on Friday, November 21 through Sunday, November 23.
