Peric Collects Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week Accolade

Hannah Peric earns a weekly honor for the second time in her career.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Graduate student defender Hannah Peric earned the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week honor, as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon. It marks the second A-10 weekly honor for Peric in her career, and first Defensive Player of the Week accolade.

On a 1-0-0 week for Massachusetts, Peric played a key role for the Minutewomen's defense to post a 0-0 shutout and hold Boston College to one goal in a 2-1 victory. Peric combined for 180 total minutes on the week, playing the full 90 minutes in both contests.

UMass hosts Northeastern on Thursday, September 5, for a 4 p.m. match, before traveling to Bryant for a 1 p.m. game on Sunday, September 8. Both contests will be streamed on ESPN+.
