The Minutemen will begin their season at home against Eastern Michigan on Aug. 31

AMHERST, Mass. -- The Minutemen opened fall camp on Friday morning at McGuirk Alumni Stadium as they begin further preparations for the 2024 campaign.

The team reported a day earlier (Aug. 1) and held several meetings to kickoff fall camp.

Massachusetts then practiced for two hours on Friday morning, with temperatures in the mid-80's.

It marked the third camp under head coach Don Brown since his return to UMass and the final fall camp Massachusetts will embark on as an independent program before joining the Mid-American Conference for the 2025 season.

The Minutemen open the 2024 season at home at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 31 against Eastern Michigan. Click here to purchase tickets.
