Massachusetts Women's Track & Field Duo Complete Day One Of UMass Multi-Meet

AMHERST, Mass.- Senior Madelyn Krohto and sophomore Megan Frazee of women's track and field completed day one of the UMass Multi-Meet on Wednesday afternoon. Frazee currently sits in third with a total score of 2713 while Krohto is right behind her in fourth with a score of 2545.
Highlights from competition:
- In the first event of the day, Frazee ran a 14.73 second 100m hurdles to claim second while Krohto placed sixth with a time of 15.62.Â
- Krohto claimed third in the high jump with a mark of 5' 2" while Frazee cleared 5' to take sixth.
- Frazee finished eighth in the shot put while Krohto took ninth.
- And in the last event of the day, Frazee ran the 200m in a time of 26.98 to take fourth while Krohto was seventh with a time of 28.32.
The duo will close out the heptathlon tomorrow as they compete in the 200m, long jump, and javelin starting at 11 a.m.
