Three Minutemen Compete In Day One Of Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C.- Three members of the University of Massachusetts track and field team competed on the first day of the Raleigh Relays on Thursday.

Robert Carew highlighted the trio with a personal best 10,000 meter time of 29:49.40. The time is the second fastest time in program history behind John McGrail's ('77) record setting time of 28:47.1.

Michael Norberg and Will Kenney also competed for UMass on Thursday. Norberg completed the 3,000 meter steeplechase in a time of 9:06.76 while Kenney ran a personal best time of 14:29.50 in the 5,000 meter.

The Minutemen will continue their busy weekend tomorrow as the majority of the squad will take on the Black and Gold Invitational hosted by Bryant University.
