Massachusetts Officially Earns No. 1 Overall Seed At 2024 Atlantic Championship

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The University of Massachusetts field hockey team officially earned the No. 1 seed in the 2024 Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Championship Tournament, the league announced on Friday evening.
The Atlantic 10 tournament is a four-team, single-elimination bracket hosted by Saint Joseph's at Ellen Ryan Field. The winner of the 2024 Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Championship will earn the Atlantic 10's automatic bid and advance to the NCAA Tournament. All three games of the A-10 Field Hockey Championship will be broadcast on ESPN+. Links and live updates can be found on umassathletics.com or UMassFH on Twitter.
The Minutewomen secured their first Atlantic 10 regular season championship since 2014. Massachusetts earned an undefeated 7-0 record in A-10 play for the first time since 2013, going 14-4 overall. The championship marks the first conference championship for Head Coach Barb Weinberg.The field is SET. #A10FH Championship begins Thursday!

Massachusetts will face the No. 4-seeded VCU Rams on Thursday, November 7 at 11 a.m. at the Ellen Ryan Field in Philadelphia, Pa. in the semifinals. The winner of this match will move onto the Atlantic 10 Championship game, which will be held on Saturday, November 9 at 12 p.m., against the winner of the No. 2 Saint Joseph's/No. 3 Richmond matchup on Thursday, November 7 at 2 p.m.???????????????????? ??-???? ???????????? ??
