Rahsool Diggins Earns Preseason All-Atlantic 10 Third Team Selection

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Senior guard Rahsool Diggins was named to the preseason All-Atlantic 10 Third Team, the conference announced Monday at Basketball Media Day.
Diggins receives the honor after averaging 12.8 points on a team-high 30.5 minutes per game a season ago. The Philadelphia, Pa. native earned A-10 Co-Most Improved Player honors last season, having progressed in nearly every category, including increasing his scoring by 7.9 points per game from the 2022-23 campaign. Diggins set new single-game career-highs in points (25), rebounds (6), field goals made (9) and three-pointers made (6) helping UMass record its best season since 2014.
The 2024-25 A-10 preseason was sparked with A-10 Men's Basketball Media Day held at District E. Massachusetts head coach Frank Martin was in attendance along with Rahsool Diggins. The league also unveiled its preseason coaches' poll as a part of the event
In the A-10 men's basketball preseason poll, VCU was picked as the league favorite with 421 points and 14 first-place votes, while Dayton followed in second with 394 points and 6 first-place votes.
