Meet Primer
The Minutemen will begin a stretch of five straight weeks of meets when the squad takes the course at the Paul Short Invitational this Saturday. UMass was last in action on September 21 when the squad won the Ted Owen Invitational in a field of 11 teams at Stanley Quarter Park. All five scorers for the Minutemen placed in the top-10 overall at the meet, with Bobby Carew taking home the individual victory in the 8L with a time of 24:49. Carew's efforts also earned him Atlantic 10 Runner of the Week recognition, the second member of the squad to receive the honor this season.
