Men's Cross Country Takes Third At Bruce Kirsh XC Cup

HOPKINTON, N.H. – University of Massachusetts men's cross country took home a third-place team finish at Hopkinton Fairgrounds on Friday afternoon at the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup. The Minutemen posted a score of 68, with Maine (36) taking first and UMass Lowell (64) in the 13-team field.
THE UMASS TOP-FIVE
- Michael Norberg took second overall to lead UMass with a time of 24.28.95 in the field of 134 competitors.
- Erik Unger took third overall, completing the 8K in 24:36.39.
- Matthew George placed 11th as the Minutemen's third scorer with a time of 25:37.47.
- Loeden Rodrigues was fourth across the line for UMass in 26th (26:33.25).
- Parker Broderick completed the top-five for the Minutemen in 34th overall (26:56.77).
