Meet Primer
The Minutemen enter week two of five straight weeks of competition with a trip to the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in New Hampshire for the 12th Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup on Friday. UMass will be competing in the "Blue" 8K at 3:45 p.m. Last weekend UMass posted a score of 324 to grab a top-10 team finish in a field of 44 schools in the Men's College Gold 8K at the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pa. Graduate student John Lucey led the pack for the Minutemen in 25th overall in a field of 374 competitors with a time of 24:00.5 to help UMass finish ninth as a squad.
