The Commonwealth TBT Team Set For Syracuse Regional

The team will take on The Rhody Way on July 24 at the Upstate Medical Arena and The Oncenter War Memorial on July 24.
AMHERST, Mass. – The Massachusetts alumni team, The Commonwealth, will begin play at the The Basketball Tournament on July 24 at 9 p.m. in the Syracuse Regional. The team will take on the Rhode Island alumni team, The Rhody Way, in the first game of a single elimination, eight-team bracket hosted by Boeheim's Army.
The games will run at the Upstate Medical Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial from July 24-28. The Commonwealth is a first-year team and is organized by The Massachusetts Collective and coaches by UMass alum, Mike Mannix. The winner of the opening game will advance to take on the winner of Blue Collar U and Big 5 on Wednesday, July 26 at 8 p.m. with the regional championship game on July 28 at 9 p.m.
The winner of the Syracuse Regional will head to WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia for the quarterfinals on Sunday, July 30. The semifinals and $1 million winner-take-all championship will be August 2 and 3 in Philadelphia, Pa. at the Daskalakis Athletic Center.
