The Minutewomen finished the year with a 16-3 record on their way to a third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.

AMHERST, Mass. The University of Massachusetts women's lacrosse team finished the 2023 season ranked 20th in the final ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning. The Minutewomen finished the season with a 16-3 record while making their third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.
 
UMass claimed its 12th consecutive Atlantic 10 regular season championship after posting a perfect 9-0 mark in regular season conference play. The Minutewomen finished the season ranked second nationally in assists per game at 8.21, led by Fiona McGowan's 2.53 assists per game to rank seventh among DI leaders. As a squad, UMass ranked fifth in points per game, sixth in scoring margin, and seventh in scoring offense. The Minutewomen ranked 11th among DI teams in scoring defense at 8.95 goals allowed per game and were led by Audra Tosone's 2.32 caused turnovers per game to rank sixth nationally.
 
The Minutewomen posted the nation's seventh-best win percentage and was one of seven teams with three or fewer losses on the year.
