Frazee, Rowland, Williams Leading After Day One Of UMass Multi Meet

AMHERST, Mass. - Four members of the UMass women's track and field team saw action in day one of the UMass Multi Meet on Wednesday. After day one, Megan Frazee leads the pack of 14 women with a score of 2,741, while Courtney Rowland (2,564) and Jennifer Williams (2,557) follow in second and third places.
Frazee took first place in the 200m, clocking a time of 26.67 seconds. She also captured second place in the 100mH (14.89 seconds) and third place in high jump (5' 0.25").
Rowland collected a first-place finish in high jump with a 5' 7.25" leap, tying her for No. 4 all-time at UMass in the event. Williams earned first place in the 100mH with a time of 14.83 seconds.
The Minutewomen will continue action in the second day of the UMass Multi Meet tomorrow, Thursday, April 13, with the first event beginning at 11:15 a.m. at the UMass Track & Field Complex.
