Bell's 1-Meter Dive Performance Highlights Day One Of Zones For Massachusetts Diving

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - University of Massachusetts diving's Andrew Bell, Tommy Cotner, and Emma Petrovich opened up action at this year's NCAA Zone A Diving Championship Meet on Monday, highlighted by Bell's 14th place finish in the 1-meter dive.
Bell scored a 298.75 in the preliminary rounds to ultimately take 14th place in finals with a score of 587.10. Cotner captured 31st place in the men's 1-meter dive, scoring a 258.85.
Petrovich took 50th place of 70 divers in the women's 3-meter dive preliminary round, scoring a 225.95.
Action continues tomorrow, Tuesday, March 7, as Bell competes in the men's 3-meter dive and Petrovich competes in the women's 1-meter dive in the final day of competition in the meet for Massachusetts.
