Massachusetts Tennis Sweeps Davidson, 7-0

It marked the 15th straight win at home for the Minutewomen.
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts tennis earned a 7-0 victory over Atlantic 10 opponent, Davidson College on Sunday morning at the Bay Road Indoor Tennis Center. The win marked the 15th consecutive at home for UMass.
Massachusetts advances to 9-3 on the year and remains undefeated, (3-0) in the A-10 Conference. Davidson falters to 4-10 overall, and 0-2 within the A-10.
The Minutewomen solidified the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. The duo of Melisa Senli and Mariya Krasakova defeated Kavya Patel and Daniela Porges of Davidson 6-0, at No. 1 doubles. Danielle Hack and Anna Napadiy paired up to overpower the Wildcats' Emma Heiderscheit and Franny Shea, 6-3 on court No. 2. Dylan Cannon and Thamonpan Jonglertrakul automatically won by default at No. 3 doubles.
Massachusetts furthered their early lead with both Cannon and Jonglertrakul nabbing victories by default at No. 6 and No. 5 singles. UMass capitalized off this momentum, seizing wins at No. 4, No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles. Napadiy notched a 6-1, 6-0 win over Davidson's Linden Patterson on court No. 4, before Hack earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 1 over Porges of the Wildcats. Senli claimed a 6-4, 6-1 win against Davidson's Patel on court No. 2, while Krasakova earned the final singles point of the afternoon, defeating Shea of the Wildcats 6-2, 6-4 at No. 3 singles
UMass looks ahead to a match on the road versus LIU on Saturday, April 1st. A time has yet to be announced.
