Matt Cross Named To Preseason All-Atlantic 10 Third Team At Conference Media Day

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Senior forward Matt Cross was named to the preseason All-Atlantic 10 Third Team, the conference announced Tuesday at Men's Basketball Media Day.
Cross receives the honor after averaging 12.2 points and a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game a season ago. The Beverly, Massachusetts native looks poised for a breakout season in his second year with the Minutemen after stints at Miami and Louisville.
The 2023-24 A-10 preseason rolled on with A-10 Men's Basketball Media Day held at the Barclays Center. Massachusetts head coach Frank Martin was in attendance along with senior forward Matt Cross. The league also unveiled its preseason coaches' poll as a part of the event
In the A-10 men's basketball preseason poll, Dayton was picked as the league favorite with 370 points and 20 first-place votes, while VCU followed in second with 321 points and 3 first-place votes.
