Herberhold Claims Second A-10 Weekly Honor

Herberhold picks up her second A-10 Rookie of the Week award.
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Freshman Mali Herberhold garnered Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honor, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon. The accolade marks the second of her collegiate career.
Herberhold collected six points on two goals and two assists to lead the No. 20 Minutewomen to a 6-1 victory over Saint Louis in the A-10 Conference opener. The Rosenheim, Bavaria, native tallied five shots, including three on goal, as well.
After a Monday non-conference matchup with Boston University, UMass will resume conference play on Friday, September 23. The Minutewomen face Davidson at 3 p.m. at the Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex on ESPN+.
