Game Day Central: 2022 Spring Game

AMHERST, Mass. – The Massachusetts football program's annual Spring Game presented by Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, which is set for Saturday, April 30, will kick off at 12 p.m. in McGuirk Alumni Stadium.
Fans can join Jay Burnham along with Andy Gresh, and Matt Goldstein on the sidelines along with some UMass football alumni and new faces to the department from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the live Spring Game show on NESN. A link for those outside of the NESN broadcasting area can be found here.
Fans will hear from Director of Athletics Ryan Bamford, head basketball coach, Frank Martin, alumni Paul Manganaro, Martin Jacobson, and Isaiah Rodgers of the Indianapolis Colts.
Admission and Parking
Admission and parking is free to fans, friends, and family. No tickets are required for the event. Parking lots will open at 10:30 a.m. the day of the event. Stadium gates are set to open at 11:00 a.m. Fans can use lot 11, the south stadium loop, and lot 22 for parking on game day.
Normal game day traffic patterns are not in effect for the Spring Game. A parking map for the stadium can be accessed here.
Student and Gridiron Club Events
The UMass Athletic Department is hosting a student BBQ inside the stadium, that is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. before kickoff.
Along with the student event, the Gridiron Club will host a reception for members and other football alumni, also to begin at 11:00.

The Spring Game is the Minutemen's unofficial annual spring reunion and completes the 15 spring practice sessions.
The Minutemen open the season on Saturday, Sept. 3 at Tulane. The McGuirk Alumni Stadium opener will take place on Saturday, Sept. 17 against Stony Brook University.
