Tennis Drops Match At Yale, 6-1

Jonglertrakul earned the lone point for the Minutewomen.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – University of Massachusetts tennis team dropped a 6-1 match to Yale University at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon. Thamonpan Jonglertrakul grabbed the lone point for UMass at No. 5 singles.
The Bulldogs took the doubles point quickly. Mariya Krasakova and Vitoria Okuyama fell on court No. 2, 6-3, to their Yale opponents, Rhea Shrivastava and Mirabelle Brettkelly, while Dylan Cannon and Renata Farima lost, 6-0, to Yale's Kathy Wang and Caroline Dunleavy at No. 3. The pair of Danielle Hack and Jonglertrakul were tied with their opponents of Yale, 3-3, before going unfinished.
UMass fell at No. 4, No. 3 and No. 6 singles, before Jonglertrakul defeated Yale's Vivian Cheng, 6-2, 2-6 (10-6), at No. 5. Yale picked up two more points at No. 1 and No. 2, to bring the match to its final score of 6-1.
Massachusetts will travel to Smithfield, Rhode Island, to match up against Bryant at 7:15 p.m., on Saturday, March 12.
