Massachusetts’ Thibodeau And Zuschlag Named To A-10 Cross Country All-Rookie Team

The duo finished among the top-seven rookie finishers in their respective races at the conference championship meet.
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts cross country freshmen Adam Thibodeau and Annika Zuschlag have been named to the 2022 Atlantic 10 Cross Country All-Rookie Teams, the conference announced on Friday. Both Thibodeau and Zuschlag were among the top-seven rookie finishers in the men's and women's races, respectively at the Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships last month.
Zuschlag was UMass' No. 3 runner at the A-10 Championships in 44th overall with a time of 18:25.2, finishing in the scoring for the second time this season. She competed in five meets during her rookie campaign.
Thibodeau was 54th overall and third for the Minutemen in 25:32.1 at the A-10 meet. He also scored at the CCSU Mini Meet as UMass' top finisher earlier in the season, racing six times on the year.
