AMHERST, Mass. -Â The University of Massachusetts men's basketball team returns home to the Mullins Center Sunday for a nationally televised game against George Mason. The Minutemen host the Patriots at 2 p.m. on USA with UMass alumnus Mike Corey ('99) and Julianne Viani on the call.

Coaches vs. Cancer
Sunday's game at home against George Mason is the Coaches vs. Cancer game. Fans can participate in the initiative by pledging any dollar amount for every made 3-pointer by the Minutemen with 100-percent of the proceeds going back to the American Cancer Society. For more information, visit here.
Sharpshooters
The Minutemen rank fifth nationally in 3-point field goal percentage at .400 and rank 11th in the country and first in the Atlantic 10 in 3-point field goals per game with 10.4. UMass leads the league in total 3-point field goals made and sits at 22nd nationally with 198. The Minutemen have four active players shooting 40-percent or better from range, led by Rich Kelly (.505), Greg Jones (.429), and C.J. Kelly (.423). Rich Kelly leads the A-10 in 3-point percentage while C.J. Kelly and Noah Fernandes rank 12th and 13th respectively among qualified leaders.
Dominating The Glass
UMass posted a 44 to 27 advantage on the boards at La Salle and hauled in 17 offensive rebounds. T.J. Weeks and C.J. Kelly led the Minutemen with new season-highs with 10 rebounds while Kelly's 10 boards marked a new career-high.
Double-Double
T.J. Weeks recorded his second career double-double on Wednesday at La Salle as he finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds on the night. Weeks first career double-double came a season ago with 13 points and 12 rebounds at Fordham on Feb. 3.
Comeback Kids
UMass has rallied back from down double digits to win in five games this season after most recently storming back from down 16 points with just over 15 minutes to go on Wednesday at La Salle. The Minutemen also came back from down 17 in wins over Harvard and Rutgers and from down 13 points against both UMBC and UNC Greensboro.
From The Line
UMass averages 20.5 free throws per game and is shooting just under 75-percent from the stripe on the year. The Minutemen have attempted 26 or more free throws in seven games with 20 or more in 10 contests. UMass ranks second in the Atlantic 10 in both free throw attempts and free throws made and inside the top-60 nationally in both categories. The Minutemen most recently went 21-of-26 from the line in the win at La Salle.
Exclusive Company
Rich Kelly became the 11th active DI player with 1,500 or more career points and 500 or more career assists last Thursday as he recorded his 500th career assist in the home win over the Billikens. Kelly ranks 28th in career assists among active leaders and has made the 30th-most 3-point field goals with 274 in his career. The graduate is also inside the top-50 in total points with 1,635.
The Commonwealth Kid
Noah Fernandes leads the Minutemen in both scoring and assists and ranks 31st nationally in assists per game at 5.2. The junior holds a 2.24 assist to turnover ratio to rank 62nd among national leaders and second in the A-10 and has the 77th most assists in the country. Fernandes has posted scoring outputs of 18 or more in seven games and finished in double figures in 14-of-16 contests.
